Ms. Missoni hails from Franklin Hills, a neighborhood of Los Angeles.  She received her Bachelors of Science in Political Science from UCLA.

Ms. Missoni has been teaching at Micheltorena since 1999.  In 2003, she received a platinum apple award from United Teachers Los Angeles, a peer-nominated award for “persons recognized for excellence in education and for dedication to students and their profession.”
