Katheryn Griffiths grew up in Glendale, California, and received her Bachelor of Arts in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College.  She also is credentialed in Multi-Subject teaching. 

Ms. Griffiths is a past PTA vice president and parent coordinator.  She has taught K-1 and general education for Glendale Unified School District before joining LAUSD and teaching K-1 special education.

Ms. Griffiths “loves teaching for many reasons, but mostly because my students teach me something new everyday.” 

Ms. Griffiths’ hobbies include reading and being a member of a book club; she is also an animal lover and a parent.
