Mr. Moreno was born and raised in Burbank, California.  He received is Bachelors of Science from UCLA in Business Management, and his teaching credentials from CSU Northridge.  Of note, he trained at the UC San Diego Summer Institute and received his certification for teaching gifted and talented students.

Mr. Moreno loves teaching because “managing thirty different personalities is a terrific challenge” and “if I ever have a down day, it only takes a funny classroom moment to pick me up.”

His hobbies include volunteering for the Da Camera Society, presenters of chamber music in historic sites, and volunteering for the Angeles Forest Fire Lookout Association.  Mr. Moreno has travelled all over the world, with sixteen countries visited at last count.

Mr. Moreno was a founding member of the Micheltorena PTA.  He is currently serving on the board as Historian and is in charge of designing this year’s school yearbook.
