In a joint effort by Octavio Pescador, Ph.D. at UCLA and teachers George Moreno/4th grade and Mark Hummer/5th grade, Micheltorena students in both classes will work closely with enthusiastic college students from UCLA.  They will complete an eight-week project which will culminate with a quality end product that will be showcased at a later date.  This collaboration will include high levels of inquiry and research.  More information on Mr. Moreno’s class page is available.
