Micheltorena Elementary is a Title 1 school, which, among other things, provides all children who attend our school with a free lunch everyday.  Lunch is provided by LAUSD Food Services, click here to view the daily lunch menu.

There has been a lot of advocacy to improve the quality of school lunch in Los Angeles recently (read: less processed foods, less added fat, sugar and salt to foods served, fresh water beverage option in cafeterias, and less meat in menus).  You can read a great summary of that food fight written June 2011 in the LA Weekly here.
